What’s Included
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to
comply with the limits for a Class B digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This equipment
generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy
and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio

POWERING THE BASE STATION AND REMOTE
Base Station AC Power
Base Station Battery Backup
Power the base station by connected it to a
standard AC outlet using the attached AC power
cord.
Requires 2 AAA batteries (not included).
The battery backup is meant for keeping the clock
and timer settings during short unexpected power
outages. The unit’s other features cannot function
off of the battery backup alone.
Remote
Requires 2 AAA batteries (not included).
Power the remote by inserting 2 AAA batteries into
the battery compartment on the back of the remote.

POWERING THE WIRELESS SPEAKERS
Wireless Speaker AC Power
Power the wireless speakers by connected them to
a standard AC outlet using the attached AC power
cord.
The AC cord is stored inside of the wireless
speaker’s battery compartment.
After extending the AC cord out from the battery
compartment, snap the battery compartment door
back into position to keep the internal elements of
the wireless speaker from being exposed.

Pairing
What does it mean to Pair?
Pairing the base station with a wireless
The two wireless speakers included in the same
speaker allows the base station to recognize
that wireless speaker. Once paired, the base
station will remember that wireless speaker and
transmit audio through it.

2. Plug the wireless speaker into a power source
or insert 6 D batteries, not included, and press
the Power button to power the wireless speaker
on.
If the base station is not playing audio, either from
the dock for iPod or the Auxiliary input, then both
the base station and wireless speakers will go into
Standby mode. Once you begin playing audio from
the base station, both the base station and wireless
speaker will come out of Standby mode.
The wireless speaker Link Indicator will flash
when the wireless speaker is powered on.
3. Adjust the Volume on the wireless speaker to
approximately the half-way point between min.

4. Simultaneously press and hold the Pair button
on the base station and the Pair button on the
wireless speaker for 5 seconds.
Once the base station is paired with a wireless
speaker, the wireless speaker can be moved
approximately 200ft (line-of-sight) or 90ft
(indoors) and still receive audio from the base
station.
5. The wireless speaker will emit a long beep
when it is paired with the base station.
If the wireless speaker emits short repeating
beeps, it was not able to pair with the base
station. Repeat steps 1-4 until you hear the
long beep.
Results will vary depending on the number and
size of obstructions between the base station and
the wireless speaker.
After pairing, the wireless speaker may take up to
30 seconds to begin playing audio from the paired
base station.
How many speakers can I pair to
one base station?
Up to 20 wireless speakers can be paired with
one base station. Additional speakers are sold
separately.
Repeat steps 1-4 for each additional wireless
speaker you want to pair with the base station.

Setting the Sleep Timer
An iPod must be docked, or an audio source
must be connected to the Auxiliary input when
the set time is reached. Otherwise, no audio
will play when the set time is reached.
1. Press the Sleep button repeatedly to adjust the
sleep timer between 60 and 10 minutes, in 10
minute increments.
When the set amount of time has expired, the
unit will power off.
5. Press the Power button to turn the unit off.
6. Press the Timer button to activate the set timer.
“Timer On” will appear on the LCD display
when the timer is activated.
Using the Auxiliary Input
Note: The speakers need to be paired with the unit
before any audio can be heard.
After the set time is reached, the base station
will power on.
1. Connect a mini-phono 3.5mm cable (not
included) or a mini-phono 3.5mm cable-RCA
R/L audio cable (not included) to the Auxiliary
Input on the unit and the audio output/
headphone jack on an MP3 player, television,
or stereo system.
IMPORTANT: The wireless speakers must be
powered on manually before the set time is
reached. The timer will not power on the paired
wireless speakers.
Using the Wireless Remote

Docking an iPod
Left / Right / Mono Speaker Settings
1. Locate the numbered bracket that fits the iPod
The wireless speakers can be set to Left, Right, or
Mono by using the Left/Right/Mono dial on the
wireless speaker.

Each included Bracket has a number on it,
indicating which iPod model that bracket is
compatible with. See the separate bracket
chart page to identify which bracket is needed.
When placing multiple wireless speakers in close
proximity to one another, set half of the speakers
to Left and the other half to Right. This will create
a stereo audio output.
2. Snap the bracket into place over the iPod
connector in the Dock for iPod.
When a single wireless speaker is set in a location,
adjust the Left/Right/Mono dial to Mono.
3. Connect the iPod to the iPod connector.
When the unit is plugged in, using AC power,
the docked iPod will charge.
Resetting the Unit
Resetting the base station is the quickest and most
effective way to solve small unexpected problems
with the base station’s behavior.
1. Using a paperclip or like object, press the
Reset button to reset the base station to it’s
original settings.
Please note, resetting the base station will not
unpair any of the wireless speakers from the
bast station.
Playing a Docked iPod
Note: The wireless speakers need to be paired with
the unit before any audio can be heard. See page 9
for wireless speaker pairing instructions.
1. Press the Power button to turn the base station
on.
2. Press the Source button to switch to iPod
mode.
3. Press the Play/Pause button to play or pause
the docked iPod.
